Marists School is an educative institution founded in 1812 in France by Marcelino Champagnat. There are many schools around the world and all of them follow the same work line. We are concerned with the children’s safety, we have strict company policies in this field. Also, we are a catholic institution in which an important part of our educational style is the faith, we always pray in a dinamic style every morning.
In Marists School we take working for diversity very seriously, each year we think new ways of improving our school in this area. From the diversity classroom we start different strategies to work with not only with our neurodiverse students but also with our children with physical disabilities.
In summary, our main aim is to make our students able to improve their skills from a way of education based on love, faith and presence.
SETSS opened its doors in September 2016 under the patronage of Educate Together. The culture of the school is based on four core principles; it is co-educational, equality-based, democratic and student-centred.
SETSS is committed to achieving the highest standards possible as we aim to ensure that every student reaches their full potential. Adopting a 21st Century learning approach, we strive to provide an environment where students develop not only their academic abilities but also their life skills. This enables them to apply critical thinking, innovative and creative skills as they prepare for their future. We also encourage students to prioritise wellbeing and active citizenship throughout their schooling.

The Complex of Special Schools and Institutions in Krakow provides care to students with special educational needs and students at risk of social maladjustment. The main goal of the Team is to create opportunities for the comprehensive development (social, emotional, intellectual) of the student – pupil according to his/her potential abilities, interests and talents.
This goal can be achieved thanks to:
- integrating students with intellectual disabilities with students at risk of social maladjustment;
- shaping the attitudes of pupils based on respect for other people and respect for historical and cultural heritage;
- shaping appropriate characteristics to facilitate pupils’ participation in social and professional life;
- creating a safe and creative atmosphere;
- cooperating and supporting parents (guardians) in raising their children, making them aware of their children’s development opportunities;
- improving methods and forms of equalizing opportunities for students with educational difficulties.
